At Resilient Projects, we work to bring about your vision of a safe, resilient, and sustainable future.
Our services focus on building resilience, the ability to withstand and recover rapidly from disruptions, shocks and stresses. This links with risk reduction, although resilience is focussed on creating the future we want to bring about, rather than just concentrating on the risks we wish to avoid.
We work on the principle that resilience is part of a larger system. By improving the resilience of infrastructure and organisations, we can improve the resilience of communities.
The arrows in the resilience diagram above go both ways, because any increase to resilience within the system automatically improves the resilience of the whole system and the connected parts. For example, by improving our ability to avoid electricity outages, businesses and the communities are better able to withstand natural hazards.
And all of these systems sit on top of the environment, and again if we improve environmental resilience, the benefits are felt right throughout the system.
